In the event that there are NO dispensaries nearby (or in our current case, non-existent), patients are allowed to obtain marijuana from other patients and caregivers with “extra medicine” that they have grown themselves. Collectively, a caregiver or patient is the only other person that can help you gain access to marijuana in Arizona. The state has refused to allow medical marijuana dispensaries in Arizona for now, but they do allow and accept patients. Which means that possession and consumption of marijuana is allowed by law if you OBTAIN your Medical Marijuana Card. These are great questions and we ask that you are patient with understanding the Medical Marijuana Act of Arizona. In the law, approved by voters and enabled in April 2011, any approved card carrying patient can PURCHASE marijuana from Dispensaries (retail outlets). If there are no dispensaries in your area or you prefer to grow your own marijuana; the state has allowed patients to grow their own medicine. This can be complicated and tricky and expensive and we recommend making an appointment at the local Phoenix Green Cross branch near 10th ST. & Indian School Rd. We can offer caregiver assistance and grow-house knowledge.

Caregivers are also permitted to grow for patients and care for Arizona marijuana patients as long as they are approved members as well.
